DENVER (CBS4) – A fire broke out at a Denver parking garage at 17th and Grant Tuesday afternoon.
Fire officials said the fire broke out just before 2 p.m. in a mechanical room on the fifth floor of the parking garage of the building located at 303 East 17th Avenue.

Three people were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene with one being taken to the hospital. The person’s condition hasn’t been released.
A large plume of smoke was visible in many areas of the downtown Denver area at 2 p.m.

The Denver Fire Department said it was a two alarm fire, and that the fire was likely caused by a mechanical problem with the HVAC system.

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Two female students woke up over the weekend and found a man standing in their dorm room at the University of Colorado.

Authorities say a break in by a possibly drunk man happened at the co-ed dorm Smith Hall sometime between 1 and 5 a.m. Sunday. Police say they believe that man later returned to the dorm and entered the students’ room inside. One of the students said a man was standing over her and possibly masturbating.
“Really creepy. It’s kind of worrisome when you live in the dorms and that can happen,” said student Ally Wolf.
The woman’s roommate screamed and the man quickly left.
Since August, this is the third sex related crime reported to campus police.
“But this one is definitely the scariest one of all,” said student Morgan Stefanacci.
