How many football players stay in your state to compete in college? If they’re leaving, where are they going?

Using data and analytics to answer these types of questions can help you focus your recruiting efforts and land more qualified recruits! And the best part is that it’s all based on hard numbers – not speculation.

To give you a better understanding, we’ve pulled information on over 5,600 football commits to compare 2 sets of data:

  1. Of all the football players from a given state, how many of themstayed in that state to compete in college? (i.e. an Illinois recruit that stayed in Illinois)
  2. Of all the 2013 commits playing college football in a given state, how many of them came from a different state? (i.e. a recruit now playing for an Illinois college that isn’t from Illinois)
